Sikkim and is the nearest motorable point to Mt. Kanchendzonga. The
town is located at an altitude of 6,800ft and offers a beautiful
view of the Himalayan peaks. Very near is located the Pemyangtse
monastery, the 2nd oldest monastery in Sikkim.
